This photo was taken early in the week at a Retirement Celebration hosted by the School District where long service pins were presented. There were a handful of teachers retiring at the end of the school season and they each received an engraved school bell. Diane retires after 33 years in the district, and when I took this solo photo of her I knew it was going on the front page regardless of what else happened during the week.
