I knew in advance the front page photo was going to come from Tulameen Family Days, but wasn't sure what the photo was going to be. We attended the parade on the Saturday morning, which is usually pretty good for various photos. I didn't decide on the actual front page photo until after I looked at all the shots taken that day. I liked this kid's expression, so I cropped the photo close on him and it ended up on front page.
