The 43rd annual Fall Fair was over the weekend and usually produces a nice front page photo. I was thinking maybe I'd get a good shot from either the Lawnmower Races or the 'mini' Chuckwagon Races so I saved space for that. The Lawnmower Races were far too dusty to produce a good enough front page photo, but the 'mini' Chuckwagon Races were another thing entirely. I positioned myself where the teams came right at me and as soon as I took this photo I knew it was the front page photo. The 'mini' chuckwagons are one-quarter size of the regular ones to which my wife, Brenda, pointed out were being pulled by teams of 'quarter' horses!
