This was the issue that started it all, Issue #01, published in July 2008. The front page photo is a view of the community taken in the 1880's. It was an unusual view of the town that I thought would set the tone for the rest of the content in the 8-page issue. I added the cepia to the black and white photo to give it the look of an old, faded photograph. It also worked well with that colour on the front page.
