I pretty much knew the front page photo was going to come out of the annual 4-H Open House, but wasn't sure exactly what it was going to be so I took quite a few photos in the hour I was there. This shot of 10-year old Taneesha was taken when I was sitting across the table from her. I thought her look of concentration was pretty cool considering she's so young. It was an easy choice for front page after I looked at the rest of the photos taken that afternoon, although many others did get used inside the paper.
