Former Olympic Skier and now BC Senator Nancy Greene Raine was in town over the weekend to make an announcement concerning funding for the development of the local industrial park. I knew a photo from that event would go on front page, and I was early for the news conference (I was the only member of the public there for most of it) and got both the Mayor and Senator to pose for some photos. The best one went on the front page.
