In our fourth 'historic information guide' publication in 13 months we've decided to focus on the historic trails in the Region. The HBC, Dewdney, Hope Pass and Whatcom Trails are featured. We not only share their history, but also examine future rehabilitation possibilities for each. The photo on the front of this issue is of a crew marking out what eventually became the Hope-Princeton Highway. The photo dates back to 1914 and came from the local Museum. It was the obvious choice as the content of this issue deals with historic transportation routes.
