I knew early in the week about a photo-op that involved the local youth ambassador candidates and had it in my mind that a good front page photo could come from that. When I arrived for photos I pushed for an opportunity to take outdoor photos in the hour before sunset. I got my wish and ended up setting up all the shots taken at the event for media and organizers. I was trying to get a 'tight' group shot at one point after taking a series of individual photos for publication with candidate bios. Finally I got the shot I wanted and I think it worked well for Page 1.
