With the local hospital becoming big news and a 'save our hospital' petition hitting the street late in the week, I knew that was the photo I wanted on the front page. I sent my wife out with her camera and she snapped this shot of a long time resident signing the petition. I was a bit disappointed that the shot lacked much in the way of colour, but thought it was a strong enough issue to leave in on Page 1.
