I 'saved' the front page photo for the annual air show hosted at the community airport, and was hoping to snap enough photos in the just under two hours I spent at the event to do the job. I ended up with enough space for a pair of photos on the front of this week's issue and chose a bright yellow plane for the main photo and a burning cut out of an RCMP vehicle next to the runway as the second photo. The police car gag was all part of a comedy act related to the first performance or the burning, smoking 'car' would have been the main photo on the page.
