I was holding the front page photo for an event that was taking place early on the Sunday. The Craft Fair is usually loaded with photo-ops and I was pretty sure I'd get the snap I needed to finish this page. After about an hour there, and taking a number of photos for elsewhere in this issue, I wasn't seeing the front page photo anywhere. Then a young girl, with her mother, appeared and the girl picked up a stuffed animal. I didn't get my camera up in time so (with the mother's encouragement) we staged this photo and I liked the result.
