It's a good thing I take my camera just about everywhere I go as this week's front page photo came from a day trip my wife Brenda and I took just before Christmas. We drove through Manning Park, which is only 30-minutes away from town, and found many amazing winter scenes that I took advantage of whenever I could. This photo is of a tiny creek that runs under the highway. I didn't think about this ending up on the front page when I took it, but I'm glad I decided to put it there as it says a lot about the season without the need for a long caption underneath.
