The local skating club was presenting awards as part of their annual general meeting mid-week. I knew about the event about a week before and decided to attend uninvited. Everyone involved seemed happy I was there so I set up major award winner photos for the paper however, not all winners were present at the meeting. I used all the photos I took (five of the eight winners) and chose the Skater of the Year for the front page.
