This week included a lot of photo-ops with no shortage of possible choices for the front page. Early in the week I attended the Grade 8 Science Fair at the request of the local science teacher and snapped a few photos. I took my usual approach to this event photographing some projects as "stand-alone's" and some with the students who made them. The photo I chose for the front page is of a girl I sort of know through her family and I have to admit that her brightly-coloured project is the main reason why I put it on Page 1. I thought the splash of yellow would stand out and draw attention to this issue.
