A controversial issue in one part of town produced an interesting photo op following an act of vandalism. While many local residents have been focused on the blocked walkway, my focus on this particular story was that someone chose the vandalize them. I snapped a few photos, shot a short YouTube video and picked this wider shot for the front page as one block is visible in the passing river. That made this photo, and the story that ran with it, top picks for the front page.
