This was an interesting front page. At first there was a story about how busy the local arena has been hosting hockey camps. The photo was an extreme close-up of my wife Brenda sniffing some spring flowers. Then when I got in to work Monday morning I found a news release about a fire at the arena earlier that same morning. I sent Brenda out to get photos, I re-wrote the news release and contacted the printer to get them to hold front page (it was print day). They did and within an hour I had the new front page uploaded to the printer. The photo is a close-up of one of the access doors to the arena showing the extent of the interior damage. That's the first time I had the printers hold the paper for a last minute change and it worked out great!
