There is an interesting story behind this week's front page photo. I saved the space for a photo from the Youth Ambassadors Fashion Show and had an idea for the photo I tried before the event started. I had taken all five candidates outside and we ended up walking halfway around the school before we could find shade and no wind. I took a number of shots there and thought maybe I had exactly what I wanted until just moments before the start of the evening program I got the candidates to sit on the steps leading to the stage. Others came over for photos which told me I had the right idea. The best shot from that sitting went on the front.
