I didn't have anything planned for the front page photo by the time I was already halfway through the week. That was until I got a phone call from the local Save Our Hospital Coalition telling me that their 3,600+ signature petition had been sent to the Ministry of Health. They had copies of the petition and I thought a shot of the SOHC Secretary holding the massive pile of pages would make for a pretty good front page photo. We decided to go outside and shoot this photo just behind our office against a hillside of ochre rock. I liked how it turned out and used it.
