Another week and weekend full of photo-ops presented a lot of choices for the front page photo this week, but I wanted something different on Page 1 this time. I happened to have a couple photos submitted, along with a story, about a new small town library service being offered in a nearby town. The concept of the 'take a book, leave a book' library was interesting to me. The photo of the book depository (a recycled beer fridge) made it a bit more interesting without actually identifying the object, so I put it on the front page - not for a laugh - but because the whole idea of the free library interested me.
