I was tipped off about a week ago about the annual Grade 8 Science Fair at the local high school and basically filed it away as a possible photo-op for later. The day before the event I got a call from the school alerting me as to when students were going to be with their projects - which I thought was a much better photo-op. I went a bit early to avoid a crowd and snapped some quick shots of a handful of students I knew standing with their projects. The front page was going to be one of them and this photo beat all the rest simply due to the colours involved. I used a few of the other shots inside the paper in black and white.
