For the first time in a long time I had nothing selected as the front page photo as I was nearing my weekly deadline. An item that was shared a day before in my office ended up inspiring the photo taken early on the Friday morning. The shot basically pans over three of the largest buildings in the downtown core - two of which are vacant and a third will be in a matter of weeks. I thought the fact that all three of these buildings sit next door to each other made it an interesting reason for a photo, which I shot just for the front page.
