This was another week without a clear 'winner' of a photo for front page until an unannounced story basically walked into our office. A local man purchased and donated three sets of pet oxygen masks to local fire, search and rescue and highway rescue crews. He came into the office without them and shortly after he arrived a local girl popped into the office for a visit with one of her dogs. My wife Brenda saw a photo-op and sent us all along our way to the local municipal office to retrieve one of the sets of pet oxygen masks for a photo. The front page features Bob and Djinni posing with the complete contents of one kit with another photo (Melissa and Djinni) actually demonstrating the product appearing inside the paper with a story on the donation.
