The local hospital auxiliary donated funds to purchase two airflow beds for the hospital and extended care unit serving our community. The photo-op was pre-arranged and I basically had to just show up for it. While waiting for all the others to arrive for the photo I took some notes and was ready until we went to the room for the photo - the bed was made 'hiding' the mattress. I decided to strip the bed, got everyone set up behind it and snapped a few photos. The last shot ended up being the one that made it on the front page.
