It become an unofficial tradition to run a group photo of the local graduating class on the front of our annual 'Grad Paper' and although I attend the ceremonies each year, there's no guarantee I'll get the group shot. This past weekend was Grad and I arrived early, as I usually do, for pre-ceremony photos. Only this time I discover the school parking lot full of students' cars and no sign of anyone in the gymnasium where the ceremonies are held. I decided to head to the back of the school and out to the field behind it to see if maybe photos were being taken out there. I found that they were just setting up for the group shot in hopes of getting it first to avoid a possible rain shower (which never happened). I got this shot at that location as I had arrived just in time. Whew!
