I was part way through the week and it was looking sort of bleak for a good front page photo, then from an e-mail request for a summer staff photo-op with the local museum came some unexpected photos. My goal was not to capture a front page photo from this session as I was more interested in just snapping some group shots and using one to sort of introduce the summer staff. What I ended up with were a number of silly, fun suggestions from the girls which turned into a lot of laughs and quite a few good photos. I decided on two photos to use, then changed my mind and picked two different ones thinking that maybe a 'goofy' shot would be fun for the front page and that's what I eventually decided to use.
