This week's front page photo is not a new photo. In fact, it's a file photo that was taken about nine months ago as part of a project which would eventually become player photos in the game program of the local Junior B hockey team. The photographer, who was on the Executive of the Club along with myself, shared all his player profile photos with me so I could use them any time in the paper. The hockey trade story I chose to use on the front page as I thought it was a pretty big story and it just made sense to use a file photo of the player featured in the trade to run on the same page.
