The past few weeks have generated a fair amount of whining and complaining around town. The majority revolves around the number of empty storefronts in the downtown core. I have seen some very positive, progress and growth-related changes also taking place so I wanted to try to get that across with this week's front page. I ended up doing it in a couple of ways: The main photo is of one of two new homes being built in the community and the second is the Ad on the bottom of the page. The local hardware store is expanding to add 50% more square footage to the existing building which says a lot to me about how they feel about the community, so I pitched the Ad idea and sold it in an instant which helped a lot with my overall goal with this front page.
