The timing of our weekly paper is a bit awkward this week as it is dated November 12, but comes out November 11. As the paper is on the printing press early Monday mornings, there is no way possible to get photos from the Remembrance Day services in this issue (they'll have to run in next week's issue). However, local schools hosted Remembrance Day Assemblies on the Friday before so I attended one and snapped a number of photos to run along with a few archive shots to keep Remembrance Day as the focus. This young girl was so 'into' her presentation I had to get a shot and chose it to run on the front page as soon as I saw what it looked like after downloading it from my camera.
