I had been tipped off early in the week about an upcoming road construction project in our community. Mid-week I sent my wife to the site to shoot some photos and quickly discovered not much was happening yet at the location. This prompted me to take a trip myself late in the week with the main goal of snapping a front page photo. Again, not much action was taking place so I shot a short video for our YouTube Channel (@PrincetonBCNews) and tried some low angle shots at the scene. One shot I took featured a row of warning pylons on a gentle curve. It didn't look like much until a large truck slipped into the frame to give it scale. I liked the shot enough to put it on the front page.
