There are weeks where I receive a lot of submitted photos and there are weeks when I end up struggling for photos. Lucky for me, the former is more regular than the latter. I received a set of photos e-mailed early in the week from a local volunteer fire department from a house fire practice that included a handful of local fire departments. One photo stood out from the rest and I knew it had to go on the front page as soon as I saw it.
