When friends of a local couple started an online fundraising campaign to assist with medical costs associated with their little girl, it really took off. In fact, within 48-hours the campaign had topped $20,000 and was continuing to grow. The story was a hard one to ignore and I thought I'd put it on the front page without tipping off the family that I was doing it. In order to keep it from them I used the photo that was on the fundraising page of the little girl, which was too adorable to not use. My goal was to assist the fundraising with a bit of extra exposure.
