The annual general meeting of the local museum society was on my calendar of events to attend. It's usually good for general interest news and a couple of photos. What I didn't expect was a special honour presented to a long time volunteer of the society. That was 'front page worthy' as far as I was concerned and I was able to put both a photo and article of the presentation together on the first page of this issue.
