The annual traditional music festival was planned for the weekend, so I knew my front page photo was going to come from that event, so I saved the space just for that. After taking probably fifty photos from the various venues downtown I was still without the photo I wanted by the time I was ready to finish the paper. I went back over the first series of photos I took on the Friday night and found a shot I was going to use elsewhere in the paper in black and white and decided it was a far better shot in colour and used it on the front page.
