This is an example of a happy fluke of sorts. I saved a lot of space in this issue, as well as the front page, for the annual agricultural fair. I knew I was going to get a lot of photos from that event, so I went the Saturday morning and snapped away. As I was about to leave I saw a small group gathered around the dunk tank with this girl waiting to get dunked. I snapped a couple shots of her dry, then waited until she got dunked. I almost missed it and once I cropped this photo tightly I noticed how interesting it was that her face was completely framed by her flying dry hair. That helped push it to the front page.
