I didn't really have a front page photo chosen for this issue until a semi-frequent contributor showed me a photo he took of an accident that took place over the previous long weekend. My wife and I had passed the scene long after the semi was removed, so it was pretty much a non-photo when we saw it, but the photo I was shown was taken a few hours before with the semi still on one side, which made it front page material almost instantly. I was expecting this photo for the rest of the week and got it late, but it still ended up on the front page even after I put a different one there just in case the one I was waiting for didn't arrive.
