Traditionally, the front page photo the issue following graduation has been the grad class group photo. I have been doing this for years and see no need to change that, although it isn't always a guarantee that the group shot is taken. Last year I just about missed it. This year I helped set up the shot utilizing the snow-covered peaks in the background on the upper right as a special feature. The hired photographer agreed that it was a good idea and I can proudly say I had something to do with that. Regardless, this year's grad photos (many are inside this issue) were easy to take with everyone being so cooperative. As much as I'd like to say the teacher strike action that has taken place in the province had nothing to do with it, I sense it didn't hurt my access any and had assistance this year from people who don't normally offer it. The main thing is that I got the shots I needed and liked how the group shot ended up.
