I knew well in advance about a local concert hosted by an acquaintance of ours. In fact, I was the MC for the show so I thought there was going to be a few good photo-ops involved that could lead to a front page photo. The venue is one in the community I have difficulty getting good indoor photos at, but managed more than enough passable ones for this issue. The host of the event, a local singer/songwriter, got the front page with a shot of him playing his heart out.
